you guys think that haveing the most exspensive crap is best?
my $800 system Is almost the same as my $2200 system
but more cores is better dont get me wrong and haveing a good intergrated sound card works wonders, but hey every one has their own opinion
I wonder how you're still able to say that AMD , whichever one, is as good as intel of the same category.
Exemple : my i5 2500k stock is better than latest 6Core from AMD. And with a slightly boost @ 4.00Ghz it blows AMD Octocores series. So I let you imagine how powerfull it is when it's clocked @ 4.8Ghz or 5Ghz like it is on my Comp.
Actually, @ 4.8Ghz, it beats hands down Last intel 1366 990x even overclocked. SandyBridges are beasts.
And which ever CPU u get, you'll have to buy another CPU Cooler. I personnaly have the Scythe Ninja 3. It's a good one and let even RAMs with HUUUUUGE dissipator (who said Gskill Ripsjawx?
) fit under it. And he dissipate the heat verywell. But it's a pain in the $%^ to install.
And to mini moof : Ivy Bridge sucks. More heat, more price, same performance.
Take the Sabertooth. Take an i7 2600k if you really need it. Even myself, which does prolly more photoshop/videoediting/3Drendering than anybody here, i just took the i5 2500k.
Btw, For your information, the i5 2500k clocked to the max is better than i7 2600k clocked to the max in some situtations. As the i7 can't reach that high frequencies that i5 can. Therefore, just buy the i5.
In conclusion, take The i7 only if you got the money.
